SOP 08: Reviewing the Details of a Product
To review all information associated with a product record within HubSpot, ensuring users can access key project information, responsibilities, timelines, and delivery details.
Use this process when:
- A project has been assigned to you.
- You need to review project information.
- You need to check ownership or responsibilities.
- You are preparing to begin development work.
- You need to review customer or launch information.
Before You Start
You must have:
- Access to HubSpot.
- Access to the Sample Tracker.
- An assigned project record.

Process Steps
Step 1: Open the Product Record
- Navigate to the Sample Tracker.
- Select the required project.
- Open the product record.
Step 2: Review the Tracker Header
The Tracker Header provides key project information including:
- Tracker Type
- Project Number
- Gate Stage
- Gate Name
Verify that you are reviewing the correct project before continuing.
Step 3: Review Launch Information
Locate the Time to Launch section.
Review:
- Customer Approval Date
- Launch Timeline
- Expected Launch Date
This provides visibility of project deadlines and timings.
Step 4: Review Delivery Information
On the left-hand side of the record review:
Dispatch Address for Sample Delivery Sites
Check:
- Delivery Address
- Sample Delivery Location
- Customer Delivery Information
Ensure delivery information is complete before dispatching samples.
Step 5: Review Responsibilities
Locate the Responsibilities (SKU) section.
Review:
- BDM (Gate Owner)
- Chef Lead
- Project Manager
Confirm ownership and responsibilities are assigned correctly.
Step 6: Review Additional Product Information
Continue scrolling through the record and review:
- SKU Details
- Product Information
- Development Information
- Customer Requirements
- Supporting Notes
